Gudrun was one of several local artists featured in the Fall 2004 issue of BC Magazine . She is involved with the local Artist in the Schools program. In Spring 2000 she volunteered to teach papermaking in Turkey for 2 months after their huge earthquake. In 1988 CFJC-TV televised her process of making pressed flower necklaces and brooches on their "Probe Portraits" show. Gudrun works in a huge, open, second-floor studio in her house on a hillside near White Lake. She enjoys collecting and is fascinated with new techniques.
