Gudrun Weisinger RR1, S1, C43, Tappen, BC V0E 2X0 Gudrun was born in German and learned her trade as a weaver-designer near Stuttgart, where she obtained a Master's degree in 1964. In 1966 she immigrated to Vancouver, BC, where she later married and had two sons. She and her husband have been living in Tappen since 1996. Gudrun spends many hours working in her studio, and her pieces have won numerous prizes in galleries and exhibitions over the years. She also teaches weaving and designing in all classes and restores antique looms. She enjoys researching and reviving historical patterns and techniques. Gudrun strives to find a perfect harmony of colour, texture, fibre and technique in all of her weaving projects.
