JJ lives in the Gardom Lake area with her son and three cats. She was born in Victoria but left the Island and moved to the Cariboo in 1997. From there she lived in Alberta, the lower mainland and the Okanagan. JJ is a self taught artist who creates her own stained glass patterns, often inspired by the beauty of nature and architecture. She has been creating glass art for eight years and uses the Tiffany method (copper foil) for most of her work.
