Teyjah K. McAren #11, 6500 15 Avenue SW Teyjah was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1954. After graduating from Concordia University, she travelled throughout Canada and the US. It was during this period that she discovered a compelling interest in art. Teyjah began studying with a variety of internationally acclaimed artists from Donna Baspaly to Frank Webb. Her work has been featured in a variety of exhibitions and is represented in private collections throughout Canada. Her style denotes a fondness for colour, texture and abstraction. Her eclectic painting style and media reflect her inquisitive nature. She is currently lecturing, demonstrating and conducting workshops for Golden Artist Colours in their "Working Artist Program."
